Summer Camps

APJCC Summer Camp is a great way for kids to let loose, meet new friends, enjoy new & exciting experiences, swim, go on cool field trips, see amazing shows, and have fun!

We offer a variety of camp programs, from traditional day camp to specialty camps.

Triple the amount of field trips from 2012. Camp Sabra (1st and 2nd graders) will go on field trips every other week, and camp Kadima (3rd- 6th graders) will go on field trips every week.

Camp Nurse. This summer we will have a full time camp nurse to make sure campers are safe and properly tended to in the occurrence of illness or injury.

Summer Shlichim for Israel. This summer our camp will host a camp staff person from Israel.  This staff person will be our Summer Shlichim and will teach children about Israeli dance, food, culture, and much more. Ages 18 months - 4 years
A fun, stimulating, and nurturing introduction to the camp experience for preschoolers.
*Camp Katan and Camp Pashoshim are both licensed (License #430709398) and operate under the supervision of the APJCC Preschool staffing separate from the APJCC Summer Camp groups grades K- 16 years.

Camp Madrichim and Camp Yoetz - pdf
Entering 7th-10th grade
7th and 8th graders, join us and learn how to develop into a powerful and successful leader at Camp Madrichim, our Leader in Training (LIT) program. 9th and 10th graders, enter our Camp Yoetz program and serve as a Counselor in Training (CIT), assisting our senior counselors.

Camp Habima Hess: Circus & Theater - pdf
Circus: 1st-10th grades; Theater: 3rd-10th grades
Our Circus Camp and Theater Camp specialty programs are designed to give our young stars the chance to shine! Circus campers learn a variety of circus arts, culminating in a performance of "Cirque du Shalom" (The Circus of Peace)! Fusion Musical Theater campers learn dance, musical theater, vocal training, acting and set design, culminating in a musical theater performance!

The APJCC summer camps provide a safe and sensitive environment for children to grow through activities and educational exercises that foster personal and creative growth as well as friendship building. Our camps promote and educate campers about Jewish values through respect, Shabbat and Jewish educational experiences that teach children how to interact in a group while simultaneously building their confidence as individuals. Our camps sustain a supportive and nurturing environment created by staff who are qualified, mature and compassionate.
