Renew Your Commitment to the Community: Service Project at the JCC

This fall, renew your commitment to helping others both locally & abroad. In September, help the JCC community; in October we'll do a project to help the wider Silicon Valley community; and in November we'll do a project to help a community in Israel. September's project involves sprucing up the JCC grounds. This will be a fun activity for all ages,and teens can get community service credit for school. End-of-Summer Barbecue

Grandpals Shabbat Kick-off Event

Grandpals Shabbat brings together preschoolers from the APJCC Preschool and older adults, for music, art, storytelling, and Shabbat. Auditions for The Music Man

Adults and children ages 8 and up are invited to audition for the JCC’s upcoming production of the popular musical, “The Music Man.” Bring a prepared vocal number or prepared dance number. Sheet music is preferred. You will be accompanied by the audition’s pianist. You may also use recorded music. Your audition should be no longer than 2 minutes. Auditions will be held on a first-come, first-served basis in the JCC Auditorium. Callbacks will be on Sunday, September 28th. The Music Man

Community musical theater at its best! The JCC is pleased to announce its production of Meredith Willson's "The Music Man," which follows the fast-talking salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments & uniforms for a boys' band. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall. "The Music Man" will be filled with elaborate costumes, set designs and wonderful song & dance. You'll leave with a smile on your face!
