Speed Talmud: On One Foot, In One Hour

There you are in a delightful social situation and suddenly everyone is quoting Talmud. Torah, Midrash, Mishna, Gemara! Your head aches and your stomach hurts. Talmudic Reference Dysfunction (TRD) is an embarrassing condition that can cause shame and humiliation. These feelings can cause people with TRD to pull back from loved ones and become reclusive, staying home alone waiting for the next PBS fundraiser ("oh look, The Moody Blues"). Silicon Valley Jewish Music Festival

Grandpals Shabbat

Older adults, we need your wisdom and warmth to explore and impart our rich traditions to our preschool children. We will celebrate and discover together through examining Pirkei Avot  (Teachings of Our Fathers), holiday celebrations, and Shabbat. Please join us for storytelling, art, and song to connect the generations.
